Backstrap - MC9L/MC9LS

New to the store is RDI Backstraps for Canik's MC9L & MC9LS models. These backstraps are machined aluminum with our signature Gatorback texturing, and hard anodized to prolong wear on the grip texture structure. Also the added length of the grip fills in the area behind the inserted magazine, giving it a smooth transition throughout the entire grip area.

Additionally, an extra 25 grams is added over the OEM plastic backstrap, giving your pistol more non-reciprocating weight to help reduce recoil and improve the center of mass of your pistol.

The Gatorback texture is our aggressive cut profile, and is one of the more aggressive styles on the market. Keep that in mind when deciding on a backstrap. Benefits from the aggressive texture are less possibility of hand slippage when shooting, especially when wet or sweaty.
