I appreciate Canik including optics plates with all their pistols, but I replace them all eventually because of their thickness. Height over bore on stock plates is always awkward and makes for unnecessarily difficulty dot acquisition. I dry fire hundreds of reps a week and I can never practice this away.
I am super excited to have this RDI plate on my Rival-S now and dot pickup is instantly natural. Every time the gun comes up, it's right where it should be. This is by far the lowest profile plate I own, it literally sits as low as the slide cuts allow. It seems rock solid and tolerated a good cranking down. I wish they made other footprints for other models of Caniks!
If you run a dot on your Rival, this is one of the first upgrades you need and is the lowest cost upgrade with highest return on investment you can purchase. You can only shoot as fast as you can see...

Canik optic plate... Perfect fit first off. Tight optic (M03) to plate fit.... Easy install of course... Sight picture from draw changed dramatically. I shoot very consistently and the increase of sight acquisition was noticeably different/faster from the stock plate. This was my first purchase from RDI and what a great experience from order to delivery. Even ordered during shot show times and my delivery was fast. Thank you RDI
